Hunting out of season

Two individuals by the name of Johnson and Shaver decided to do some hunting when all of the seasons were closed. After a call to the TIPs line the local Conservation Officer discovered the following items:

List of Wildlife Taken Out of Season and Without Licenses:
2 Whitetail Deer
38 Doves
9 Pheasants
1 Goose
1 Duck
1 Coyote

GFP and local law enforcement also seized several plants from an illegal marijuana grow.
Shaver was also a convicted felon and was unable to posses any firearms, which three were found and seized.

Johnson received a fine of $300.00 for Hunting Small game without a license (41-6-16). He also was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 27 Susp.

Shaver received a fine of $500.00 for Hunting Big Game Closed Season and $500.00 for possession of marijuana. He also was sentenced to 30 days in jail with 27 Susp. Shaver was also sent back to the State prison for one year for violating probation conditions.

Jointly, they share civil fines of $8900.00.
